Prior to founding both This Bird Productions and Fly Bird Enterprises in 2018, Emy Elizabeth d Freeman co-owned a Beverly Hills based independent record label where she actively executive produced projects to billboard chart positions.

After divesting her interest in a Beverly Hills based independent record label, Emy Elizabeth d Freeman started This Bird Productions to bring her unique talents to independent record labels who do not have robust internal marketing or independent artists who want to craft a brand platform that will meet their immediate needs and serve their long term goals.

When co-owning her own label, Ms Freeman executive produced projects for signed artists that included brand development, art direction and active executive production. Freeman executive produced twenty records – nine of which were released either in the US, abroad, or both. Of those commercially released in the US, three earned Billboard chart positions.

Each artist is very different and each brand platform Freeman builds is, therefore, very different; what they have in common is the quality of the platform. The brands are sure to the artist’s authentic self — which allow them to grow with their brand still serving them. They are also commercially viable — serving both the artist’s immediate and long term career goals. A key element of the brands Ms Freeman develops is that they are agile — they have bend and give in order to flex with unexpected twists and turns along the way.

Essential to an effective brand is maintaining its integrity in execution. Ms Freeman provides Brand Management and oversight for select projects. Services inculde:

• Brand Development – Crafting and creating an authentic, agile, and commercially viable brand: this foundation must preceded any of the below services.
• Brand Management – Routine oversight of the everyday elements that represent the brand, collateral, online presence, etc.
• Art Direction – Strategic oversight of key elements that represent the brand: photos, videos, live performance, etc.
• Executive Production – Strategic oversight, in or out of studio, of the essential product, the record: music, lyrics, song selection.
